THE JOYHOUSE

We are so excited about what is going on at the JoyHouse, our home for women in crisis pregnancy. First of all, renovations are nearly complete on the kitchen and mud room. This has added a ton of space for mommies and babies!  We are so thankful for all who worked so hard to make this happen. Second, a HUGE "Thank You" to Security First Baptist Church for hosting the Garage Sale fundraiser in October.  We raised enough money to cover just over two months of operating costs. And Third...We are graduating another family from the program! Candor and Cherish will be moving in to their own place this week! She is such an amazing young lady and we are so excited to see her embarking on this next adventure in her life. If you would like to see Candor's testimony, you can do so by visiting www.compassionunited.com/videos and scrolling down to "Candor's Story". Trust me...you will be blessed.  Also, if you would like to help Candor in this new adventure, there are still some needs.

1. She is in need of transportation. She has a total of five children so
it will need to be a minivan or SUV.

2. She is still a little short on move in money. If you would
like to contribute to help her out, you can do by going to our giving
page at www.compassionunited.com/giving and select
"The JoyHouse" in the dropdown menu.

The JoyHouse is supported by our Garage Sale fundraisers. We have

a storage building full of donated items but we need volunteers and

locations to set up and sell. Would you or your church be open to help coordinate a Garage Sale? We will handle all of the logistics. We just

need a place to host it and strong hands to move our donated items.
